Cook something different without needing to go to the restaurant with the Bar-B-Chef Cast Iron Sizzle Plate. You will be able to sizzle beef, chicken, pork, prawns or a variety of vegetarian dishes like a true professional.
The sizzle plate comes with a cast iron sizzle plate with handle, durable wooden base for serving and a protective hot handle holder. The plate also has specially designed channels and a pouring lip to drain away unwanted fat and grease for healthy cooking.
Bar-B-Chef Cast Iron Sizzle Plate can be seasoned either in a gas or electric oven or in the grill for many years of gourmet cooking.
Perfectly Oven Safe!
Preheat oven 148.89 - 176.67 ° C. Apply a very thin
and even coat of oil onto cast iron surface - Make sure to not use too much oil. Leave in oven for one hour.
Allow to cool once removed from oven. When cool, wipe excess oil with a
paper towel so that the surface is shiny and not sticky.
Great for BBQ Grilling!
Following the same instructions as for
the oven, then place the cast iron sizzle plate on a preheated
barbeque. Cover the grill and heat for one hour. When cooling, continue
with the above instructions.
Easy Care and Cleaning
To keep your cast iron properly seasoned, soak it for several minutes in hot water and scrub with a plastic scouring pad or nylon brush and dry thoroughly right away to avoid rusting. Apply a thin coat of oil prior to storing - over time, a natural patina will develop.
